8:00-8:45am - Juicing Demo with Sarah
Start your day off right with a glass of fresh juice. Sarah will explain the benefits of juicing and show you how to get started.
9:00am-12:30pm – Therapeutic Flow & The Yoga of Healthy Eating with Sarah
Begin your self-care day with a yoga practice that is focused on maintaining healthy joints, developing a fulfilling breath, and deepening your inner awareness. With more awareness, you are able to make healthier lifestyle choices. Learn how to take your yoga practice off of the mat and into your life as we discuss The Yoga of Health Eating. Using awareness techniques, such as food journaling, mindful eating, and meditation, you will be able to create a personal food pyramid that reflects a diet that is best for you.
12:30-2:00pm – Lunch
Bring your own lunch and eat in the comfort of The Glowing Body or enjoy some grub from Holly's Corner or Three Rivers Market. A silent lunch option will be available for those interested in practicing the mindful eating techniques learned in the morning session.
2:00-5:30pm – Yoga & Self-Massage for Chronic Stress with Jen
Whether you’re a caregiver, a busy executive, or an over-scheduled parent, the holiday season can add an extra helping of stress to your plate. Learn how to:
- Treat areas of the body where tension is held using self-massage.
- Enliven areas of the body that stagnate as a result of chronic stress.
- Activate your relaxation response and pacify your mind quickly.
Class ends with yoga nidra for deep relaxation.
