Join Jen and a group of like-minded women for discussion and meditation at the studio, then follow along at home with yoga practice videos that correspond to your own menstrual cycle.
Week 1: Getting to Know Flo
This session provides an introduction for the rest of the series. We’ll explore the physiological phases of the menstrual cycle and how to use the videos for your home practice so that we’re all on the same page.
Week 2: Journey to The Red Tent
This session focuses on the menstrual phase of your cycle. We’ll explore the symbolism of clearing space to make room for your intention.
Week 3: This is the “Good Part”
This session focuses on the pre-ovulatory and ovulatory phases of your cycle. We’ll explore the symbolism of your ripening intention.
Week 4: The Dark Side of the Moon
This session focuses on the pre-menstrual phase of your cycle. We’ll explore the symbolism of the dark side of the moon. We’ll also discuss PMS and ways you can use yoga, meditation, and breathing to work with your symptoms.
This series is also appropriate for women who are not cycling due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, certain forms of birth control, or menopause, but want to deepen their connection with nature and other women.
$60 per gal
Jen is an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher – E-RYT 200 and a qualified Continuing Education Provider with Yoga Alliance – YACEP. Earn 4 Contact Hours and 4 Non-Contact Hours toward your CE training requirements. This series will fall into the Teaching, Training & Techniques and the Anatomy and Physiology categories.
